My 2nd Bike...
It's all about the gixxer...
The 1999 GSXR 600 and all the upgrades and the repaires. Their is the good, the bad, and all the rest....
The bike was bought in December from Douglasville Georgia. The bike was kept in the basement of the house in a room that is heated. The guy pulled the bike out and cranked it up.... When i got to my house, i decided to go for a spin... The problem is that the choke cable was pinched and that is why the bike was in a heated room. I had to replace the cable with the help of my dad. The chain, tire and oil were changed on a regular basis. During spring break 2006, I was flying down an unfamilliar road and missed one turn.... I went straight into the field. The field started out 5 ft below the level of the road and dropped 2 ft every 6 ft after that. The bike flipped and twisted till it slammed on its right side. A lot of damage... I thought i'd be smart and fix everything... i didn't realize how much money it would take.... The fairing, gas tank, headlight, and frame still need to be fixed.... I decided to fix other things while I was at it. The undertail was changed because i rode my bike with my girl when the bike was slammed on the ground.... Very Very Very Smart..... The undertail went up in smoke literally, and the exhaust melted the spool and made a big hole in the cannon.... I bought and installed an aftermarket undertail and I made a shorty pipe out. Hopefully before the end of 2006 i will be able to do some fiberglass work and some painting....

Changing the choke cable before i can go on my first ride...
